After 10 IRA titles and two seasons with the All Stars, he was an Outlaw rookie in 2024, but this year ended up with more Outlaw wins than Donny Schatz. During the 2025 World of Outlaws sprint car season, only seven drivers had more Outlaw wins than Bill Balog did. They were David Gravel, Buddy Kofoid, Carson Macedo, Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu, Sheldon Haudenschild, and Anthony Macri. The North Pole Nightmare entered the season not having won against the Outlaws since 2016, but by year's end, he'd won three times, including races at Talladega, Huset's, and Perris. By nearly every available metric, this was the best year to date of Bill's career. Not bad for a guy that's been racing sprint cars for probably close to 25 years. One full time crew member, a pretty low key personality, but the ability to mix it up with the best on any night, at any track.
